Attention, students! Do you believe you have something passionate to say about the direction of the future? Elder and Leemaur Publishers “Voice of the Future” Scholarship offers undergraduates in any field of study, as well as high school juniors and seniors, the opportunity to win up to $10,000 for educational expenses.

The scholarship requires interested applications to write an essay totaling no more than 500 words on one of several various topics students can choose from. The first scholarship deadline is March 1st, 2008 and students have three topics to choose from in order to write their essay.

The first topic deals with the future of campaign spending and whether the astonishing rate campaign funds are increasing each year is beneficial for democracy. The second topic you may choose to write about pertains to the average salary of a CEO, and whether their astronomical salaries are justifiable when compared to what the average worker usually makes. Finally, you may also choose to write about which country you believe to be the most politically and economically stable.

There are several deadlines for scholarships offered by Elder and Leemaur Publishers, and you may apply to as many as you wish. However, you may only submit an application on one topic per deadline. Scholarships range in size from $500 to $10,000 and will be awarded to selected winners within three to four months. Winners will be notified via telephone, and a check will be mailed to the winning applicants.

For more information about this scholarship opportunity and for complete details on essay topics and rules, please visit the website of Elder and Leemaur Publishers. Entries will be judged on the quality of the essay, so make sure you submit your best work to have a chance!
