Brought to you from StraightForward Media, the Dale E. Fridell Scholarship is an excellent opportunity for current or prospective college students. Fridell was the grandfather of StraightForward Media CEO Josh Barsch, who created a scholarship in his memory.

This year, the Dale E. Fridell Scholarship offers $1,000 to anyone who is currently attending or planning to attend a 2-year or 4-year college, university or vocational school. The scholarship is offered four times a year, and you can apply directly online.

In order to remain eligible for this award, interested applicants must not have already received a full tuition scholarship or grant from another source. Additionally, the scholarship is open to both international and U.S. residents. The next deadline for this scholarship is April 14th, so apply now if you’re interested.

In order to qualify for the scholarship, you must fill out a brief application form online. No mail-in forms will be accepted, so you must have access to a computer and Internet connection. You’ll be expected to fill out the usual information, including your full name, address, and contact information.

In addition, you’ll need to enter a bit about your academic progress, the school you are attending or plan to attend, and your estimated GPA. Finally, there are two essay questions you must complete in order for your application to be considered. While there’s no word count limit on these essays, you should still take your time with them.
