If you applied for the CosmoGIRL of the Year scholarship award last year and didn’t win, what are you waiting for? Enter again! 

CosmoGIRL is looking for one lucky female between the ages of 11 and 25 who have made a difference within their school, community, or anywhere else in the world. 

They want to know all the amazing things you’ve done this year, so don’t be shy. The winner of the CosmoGIRL scholarship award will receive $20,000 to apply towards educational costs at the school of her choice. 

In addition to the scholarship award, the winner will be flown to New York and hobnob with celebrities at the annual Born to Lead awards! How’s that for a celebration? 

To enter, you can mail your submission or apply online. If you are less than 13 years of age, you MUST enter by postal mail.

Whether you choose to send your application via snail mail or online, please make sure to include your complete contact information, including your full name and address, e-mail address and phone number. 

In addition, you must write an essay of 300 words or less explaining why you should be this year’s CosmoGIRL of the year winner! If you are applying online, please attach a digital photo of yourself as well.  

Postal mail applicants can send in a photograph, but be aware that entries and photos will not be returned. 

The scholarship award can be used towards any educational expenses including tuition, room and board, books or other college expenses. Contest deadline is July 26^th, 2007. 

Winners will be notified sometime in August. Have fun, and good luck!
