Charles Shafae Scholarship Fund from Papercheck
Two students each have the chance to win a $500 scholarship to apply towards various educational expenses with the Papercheck essay contest, offered by the Charles Shafae fund. The essay contest is open to students who are pursuing any course of study, but you must meet certain guidelines before you’re eligible to apply.
All interested students must be enrolled in an undergraduate course of study with a minimum 3.2 GPA. You must also be attending an accredited 4-year college or university, and be on good academic standing with your school. Finally, the contest is only open to legal U.S. residents or those with a valid student visa.
The deadline for winter entries is May 1st, 2007. Be sure to get your application in by the deadlines, because no late entries will be accepted. Questions or concerns about the scholarship award can be directed to scholarships@papercheck.com
In order to apply for this award, you must fill out the online application. Applicants will be expected to give the usual information, including full name, address, and contact information. As with most scholarships, you are expected to write an essay centering around 5 different questions you can view on their website.
You must write a minimum of 1,000 words, but there’s no word cap on how many you can write. Keep in mind that a works cited page will need to be included with your essay, which will be judged on the basis of grammar and logical thought. Please include a minimum of three sources with your citations page, which needs to follow the MLA Handbook.
Winners will be announced by June 1st, 2007 – so keep your eye out for an announcement. Apply now, and you never know – you just might be the winner of a $500 scholarship award.

i want to know how i can get a scholarship. i am a student from indonesia, riau university,economy faculty. but i have a problem about my fee.maybe i will get DO.i don’t know what i will do.my parent a poor, only a little farmer,in small village. sometimes i upset ,i don’t know whom i need help .maybe you can help me thakns

i am akitelek salume jolly from uganda that is eastern region-tororo district. i completed my ‘A’ Level in 2000 and proceeded to acomputer school where i was awarded acertificate in information technology. i kindly request any body to sponsor me or connect me to any organisation which offers scholarships. i need to join uganda chamber of commerce and industry for adiploma in business administration but i have aproblem about my fee.
